I tried to run the app as is, and it was giving me several errors. I believe due to webpack configuration. Rather than fixing the webpack issues, I decided to start with the create-react-app and bring the components one by one.
Since it was in your "working with older versions of react" topics, you may want to keep the master branch as is. But it would be nice for other people to have access to this create-react-app version as another branch in your repo.
